Does your dog pull on leash, refuse to stay, or not come when you call? Our Essential Skills class is the class for you! While other classes may focus on the same old “basic obedience” a well-behaved dog needs more to understand what you want. Our Essential Skills class not only works the behaviors of sit and down, but it also builds a solid stay behavior through stationing, and helps owners learn to set their dog up for success when distractions are present. Our Essential Skills class teaches the foundation skills you need to help your dog be successful, while building confidence and willingness to listen. This class is appropriate for dogs who are young and/or have minimal training. Class sizes is limited to six to maximize learning. Dogs should understand the cues sit and down but need not have attended classes previously. Class meets once weekly for four weeks.
