Has your dog already earned their CGC title and you’re ready for the next challenge? CGC Plus is the perfect next step! In this class, we’ll cover and practice test items for the two advanced AKC Canine Good Citizen titles—Community (CGCA) and Urban (CGCU)—and give you the opportunity to test for both. You and your dog will practice real-world skills and scenarios you’re likely to encounter out and about. Prerequisite: A CGC title is required, as AKC rules specify it as the foundation for earning CGCA or CGCU. In Week 6, when we test for CGCU, will involve meeting at a public location like a hotel or shopping center that allows dogs in order to complete the required elements.
